Strange Logic

What happens when the Mad Men really get mad?

Strange Logic, a novel from agency principle Ian Mundee, offers a glimpse into the life of an advertising executive who goes to extremes to market his own brand of anti-smoking campaign.

Ad man, Neil Strange has it all – a beautiful wife and an advertising agency that is thriving thanks to his outrageous marketing gimmicks. But he wants more: a house in France and the financial freedom to leave the rat race behind permanently.

When tragedy strikes, Neil copes using the only skill he has: outrageous marketing. The fallout threatens his agency, his marriage and his future. Now Neil must attempt to use his marketing powers for the good of others, instead of himself, or face losing everything.

Smoker’s Logic is set in Louisiana, where back room deals are standard and a dozen donuts can buy you a bill in the Senate. Ian Mundee, owner of his own ad agency, paints a colorful send-up of the Ad Industry and a portrait of a man caught between the fantasy of Advertising and the reality of, well, everything else.
